On the Road in LA- Thoughts from JW!

Drove over the valley in LA last nite to buy my great webcast camera from Craig’s List.  I got a migraine doing it.

Now, to find a wireless mic and a tripod… will probably find these at Samy’s (a great LA tech place).

Just finished a 3-day workshop here in San Pedro with Shelley.  It’s called “Hypno-Tarot.”

Shelley and I are making a small book on this subject of combining hypnosis and tarot.  It takes tarot deeper, deeper.

Also love the gestalt play of voice dialogue between the tarot archetypes that represent our inner conflicts.

I really valued my voice interplay and conflict between the Hermit and Lover in me. The resolution? Better communication.

Today, I have a day off.  Sitting here in Venice Beach. Getting ready for a photo shoot tonite and a facial before (wow!)

Work tomorrow day and nite at Maureen’s in Brentwood (near the OJ murder). Check out www.tarotbymo.com.

Will drive home tomorrow nite from LA  to home in Carmel. Will arrive around 3 am. Will load up on some chai!!!!!

When I get home, go to the beach, play with my cats, and finish up my “Greening You” book.  I am crazy wild

Thoughts from HONOLULU!

Just did a webcast in Honolulu on Intuition, which is based on my book, Intuition@Work.

I love the “Three Ages of Women” and the tie in with Greek mythic Goddesses and the The Female Brain book.

Did another webcast with Wowza on “Greening Yourself and Your Relationship.” This should be up on YouTube soon. Fun stuff!

Am Webcasting one event a month from somewhere on Captain Pick A Card’s voyages.

These Webcasts will include Voyager workshops, Intuition in Business seminars and Green Man events!!!! Stay tuned.

Some thoughts about my Green Wisdom Card.

My Green Wisdom Card today is the “Fertility Goddess.”  Women, women, women.

Just got through writing my special Voyager Connection email newsletter on “The Women of Voyager.”

Just a few days ago, started a mild tsunami on Facebook with the simple question of why is my work almost entirely with women.

Even picked a card for a clue; it was the Woman of Wands, the Sensor.  Now I’m a bit freaked.

Even yesterday’s tweet was all about plying the abundant goddess river, the great Broad way of the Amazonian Manhattan.

My action for this day of flying home from Newark to Dulles to LAX to Monterey is to create.  Duh.  How about ‘womanifest.’

Propagate ideas, fertlize new thinking, birth different perspectives.  I am pregnant.  My Mac is my midwife.

So, my baby du jour is a question posed in the latest Psychology Today.

The mag asked a panel of esteemed psychologists what kind of advisors Obama should have – a cognitive scientist,

an evolutionary behavioral scientist for understanding ‘maladaptive’ action, and so on.  Interesting stuff.

If I were asked by Psychology Today (you know I might just write them a letter), what would be my recommendation?

Well, this goes back to when I ran for President of the US on the platform of Tarot.

I Pledged to the public that I would make no decision without first consulting the cards.  Instead of Tarot for President, it was Perot.

He got lots of votes (sounds close).  Anyway, that’s a clue to what I would recommend, a tarotist, like myself, of course.

Remember, hell you don’t even know this, that Obama and I went to two of the same higher education schools in the same order.

We went to Occidental College to Columbia University. After that, he went to Harvard. I went to Africa. Go figure.

Why the Tarot?  Because the cards give us universal principles for living the whole life of happy, healthy, holy and wealthy.

Can’t beat that for a political mantra. The cards provide a roadmap that transcends time and culture to be always true and effective.

I can just see it now.  Obama and his hypomanic advisor Rahm Emanuel want to know what to do about Afghanistan.

Pick a card.  It’s the Empress, that woman again.

So, we ask women and mothers what we should do.  In addition to me on the Council, I would also nominate a pregnant mother.

The estrogen effect in acton, not really true of Hillary, let alone the Condi.

Condi has gone public about how she wants to be the Commish of the NFL (oh, she loves those uniforms and tight ends!).

Isn’t Michelle O. already an advisor?  Probably. How about Bush’s wife (I’ve already forgotten her name)?

No, just an honest goodness mom with no Harvard degrees (Michelle) and political aspirations (Hillary).

And no republican women (they just don’t count).

So, what does the Empress and the pregnant woman (Woman of Worlds “Preserver” card) say about the Afghanistan mess?

Befriend them, love them, change them? Kill the bastards?  The Taliban wants women to be essentially slaves. Arm the women.

Get them out of their cloaks and emasculate those guys. Wow.

Your ideas, representing the feminine?????
