Voyager is a multi-use tool.   People forget that, thinking it’s only good
for readings, but in fact, Voyager was designed to work great for relationship conversations, business strategizing, one-on-one counseling, personal growth, game, treasury of great art, storytelling, and holistic psychology. 

One of the most fun uses of the Deck is as a party game! You can create a theme for the evening by having a partier select a card for the theme of the evening.  Then, each person selects their own Card for that theme.  Since I don’t want to be reading cards all night, I bring a bunch of Voyager Guidebooks for people to peruse. 

At one of my last celebrations, the “Card For The Nite” was the Learner, Child of Crystals. So, the issue was... what do each of us need to learn at this time in our lives? In fact, every party is a “learning party.”  A true value-added social gala.  It’s amazing how many people will sit down during a dance and take the time to read the book about their Card. 

And it’s a great way to hook up with people through conversation over the Cards. One man and woman, upon seeing the compatibility of their Cards, got together and disappeared into the night.  Yowza, the power of tarot!  Tarot is for lovers and lovers are for tarot.  Remember, Dangerous Liaisons, the movie where the characters were always picking Cards to see who they were possibly going to make love or make war with.

At dance events, I get people to embody  and express with breath, movement, sound and emotion the Card for the evening.  For the Learner, I used WOW! as a guiding mantra.  Everyone was doing the WOW! dance with me.  Yes, the tao of wow, why not? And so everyone picked their own Card with the wonder, awe, enthusiasm, curiosity, and adventure of the wowing child of crystals.  Wow!

So, the next time you want to create a buzz at a party, get out the Cards.  I actually give the Cards away, but then again I have thousands on hand.  I also put a little sticker with the Voyager phone and email numbers on them... it’s a great business card.
